HAAPI Festival is a major event held once a year to celebrate African culinary and culture. This event is an initiative developed by Technopro Trading Enterprise based in Johannesburg, South Africa. The project is designed to showcase African food, drinks, arts and heritage over 5 days. The first edition was held in Johannesburg, South Africa in 2013 with 12 African countries represented and the second one in 2015 in Johannesburg, The main aim behind this festival is to promote Africa and its indigenous culinary internationally while addressing some of the critical issues concerning our perspective towards food, local beverages, nutrition and biodiversity.
